What makes up our Brain Diagnostic Assessment?

A Brain-Based Assessment for a More Scientific Diagnosis

At Neurocore, we go beyond a simple checklist of reported or observed behaviors. Using data gathered through cutting-edge brainwave mapping technology and other evaluation tools, Neurocore provides a deep understanding of why an individual's health and well-being may be compromised.

Quantitative Electroencephalogram (qEEG)

A full-cap qEEG is at the core of our assessment process and helps us to understand what is happening in your brain. A cap is placed on your head that allows the frequencies of your brainwaves to be measured at 19 sites of the brain. This allows us to measure and record the brainwave frequencies within and across your various brain networks. We analyze both brain speed and connectivity in determining how optimally your brain is functioning.

Looking at your brainwave activity can provide our clinical specialists valuable insights into what is contributing to your unwanted symptoms or challenges.

Heart Rate Variability (HRV)

This test measures your heart rate and breathing patterns. Data will be analyzed to determine if your respiratory system and cardiovascular system are functioning in cohesion with one another. Good cohesion between the respiratory and cardiovascular systems is vital to brain health.

Integrated Visual and Auditory Continuous Performance Test (IVA)

The IVA is a computerized test designed to detect attention disorders. It measures sensory processing, impulsivity and attention.

Behavioral Checklist

The Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL) for children or the Adult Self Report (ASR) for adults are used to help the clinical specialist begin to understand the behaviors you're seeing or experiencing, as well as to address social and emotional health concerns.

You Receive Your Results The Very Same Day

A Brain Diagnostic Assessment appointment lasts 2 hours. After completing your assessment, a clinical specialist review your results with you — all in the same day.

Neurocore may be covered by your insurance

Many insurance plans cover Neurocore’s services. We provide a FREE insurance consultation prior to the time of the initial neurological assessment to inform clients if and how much will be covered.
