Neurocore teaches your brain to remain calm

We use advanced qEEG technology to identify and quantify the brain activity that may be contributing to your stress symptoms. We also evaluate your breathing and heart rate which contribute to overall brain wellness. Our neurofeedback and heart rate variability (HRV) program trains your brain to regulate itself to stay in a more calm, focused state.

Poor stress management leads to poor health

Stress can lead to a range of conditions—many serious, including the following:

  • Anxiety, obsessive thoughts, restlessness
  • Change in appetite, upset stomach
  • Change in sex drive

Stress releases hormones

The brain automatically reacts to stress by releasing hormones that produce a variety of physiological changes—racing heartbeat, faster breathing, tense muscles and beads of sweat on your forehead. Stress also induces the release of cortisol, a hormone that causes our cells to demand more sugar. This can cause cravings for starchy, sugary food, leading to unwanted weight gain, especially around the midsection. If the stressful responses to your daily activities are constant, your brain never has a chance to recover.
